Each year, 2,700,000 people are injured as a result of an accident at home, with 4,000 of those injuries ending in fatalities. With this in mind, 82% of parents with young children questioned say that they would not know what to do if their child suffered an accident.

From September 2016 new nursery and pre-school staff will be required to undertake paediatric first aid for the first time, thanks to the new government proposal – ‘Millie’s Mark’.
